If you haven’t been to Liberty Science Center, March 8th is the perfect time to do so! You’ll soar through space, explore the night sky, and see the stars on an unforgettable evening.  At 10 PM they’ll have a Queen laser show in their massive dome theater.  This is the first night of LSC’s new monthly series, Friday Nights @ LSC, when the Science Center stays open late from 6:00 – 10:00 pm. During this time, the building will be filled with astronomy adventures that you won’t get during the daytime, including stargazing outside with the guidance of their educators, themed activities, special presentations, delicious snacks and guests over 21 can enjoy tasty cocktails.

On these special evenings, you’re also invited to catch a show in their Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium, the biggest planetarium in the Western Hemisphere. This stunning space boasts a resolution of 88 million pixels, a lighting system that can produce over 281 trillion colors, and new speakers capable of producing 30,000 watts of digital sound. They’ve also invited some of the greatest minds in astronomy to present at each event! Don’t miss these incredible presentations on topics including black holes, supernovae, innovative technology, and more.
